Enrich – In late 2020 Lake Effect Furniture and Mattress was having trouble gaining share of voice and, consequently, share of market. Two major retailers dominated the market with long established top of mind awareness. In this David vs. Goliath battle we knew we had to make people take notice.
In 2021 we launched a campaign that, while being wildly different from other retail furniture marketing felt familiar to consumers – a workplace mockumentary in the style of The Office. This unique format allows us to eschew the cliched b-roll and showcase Lake Effect’s beautiful showroom in a way that is both subtle and constant. Benefits and promotions are often framed by humorous dialogue, slice of life scenes and talking head shots.
